Tonight went splendidly! Easily sliding into Platinum after the reset and dropping a ton of damage at multiple times. I continue to use Anger of the Gods as the exile potential continues to prove itself, worthy in my mind over Brotherhood’s End.
The only angle I’d like to explore is upping Tyrranax Rex to 3 copies. Upping the potential of seeing a big scary dinosaur just a touch should feel more valuable. Perhaps a single Ripjaw Raptor could be trimmed or even a copy of Anger of the Gods! I do value 4 sweepers though, at times have upped it to 5 just to make sure i hose those certain decks i want it against. Hopefully you enjoyed this little rundown and thoughts on the night! 6 Weeks to go before Lost Caverns of Ixalan! Will be hard to get a new dino there that can compete with Ancient Imperiosaur but you never know! I’ve started to work Ancient Imperiosaur back in and the reasonings make great sense! Goreclaw helping to reduce it by 3 total, Getting a bit bigger with the Great Henge, Possibly playing it for free with Convoke to draw a card off of Henge and keep nasty things moving. Then the prefect target for Xenagos! We saw a couple times last night and I’m super excited to tweak things a bit more towards this often lovely addition to a dinosaur deck!
